Charlotte man wanted after cutting off electronic monitoring device

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is searching for a wanted man who they said cut off his electronic monitoring device. 

Hakeem Dickens is wanted for possession of a firearm by a felon, CCW, damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device. Dickens was court ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release, police said. 

On Monday, April 15, Dickens cut off his electronic monitor and was last known to be in the area of 2700 Lasalle Street in Charlotte. He's described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, around 160 pounds.
