Charlotte police looking for Uptown bank robber

CMPD releases photos of man wanted for bank robbery in Uptown Monday morning.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying an Uptown bank robber caught on camera Monday.

Surveillance images from the Fifth Third Bank, located at 212 South Tryon Street, show the man entering the bank and approaching the teller, police said. He demanded money from the teller, who handed over the cash. The suspect then left the bank and walked down the street.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 40's, around 5'6" tall, medium build and was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt, black hooded jacket and blue jeans.
