Cleveland Co. deputies search for man who shot, killed woman at house party

The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office says they are searching for a man wanted for murder. 

Antarious Byers, 24, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm and discharging a firearm into an occupied property. 

On Oct. 9, 2017, Deasia Washington was shot at a house party. According to deputies, the shooting took place around 2:00 a.m. at 137 Fox Hill Drive in Kingstown. 

Upon arrival, deputies found Washington lying in the kitchen floor suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to Carolinas Medical Center in Shelby where she later died.

Byers is believed to be a Blood gang member. He is described as a black man, 6'2", weighing about 180 pounds.
