CMS holds special meeting over former elementary school

The CMS Board of Education held a special meeting with its attorney Monday to prepare for an upcoming appeal hearing with the County Commissioners, over the former Villa Heights Elementary School.

The VERTIAS community school had just signed a 10 year agreement with the district, when CMS then decided it needed the building back for its own students.

VERITAS officials say they have had other proposals from the district and hope to work something out.

The county commissioners will host a appeal hearing on December 1st, 2015.
