CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - Random classroom safety screenings were conducted Wednesday morning at Mallard Creek High School and Harding University (A CMS comprehensive high school), according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
The four random classroom safety screenings were held between 7:15 a.m. and 8 a.m. Wednesday at each school. No weapons were found and the screenings proceed without incident, CMS said.
Harding University and Mallard Creek High School were selected by random drawing on Monday, Jan. 28, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
Screenings were observed Wednesday morning by various members with CMS Superintendent's InterFaith Advisory Council.
