A Confederate monument at Memorial Stadium in Charlotte has been vandalized for the second time.

Someone spray-painted the names of the Charleston shooting victims on one side of the monument. On the other side, it said, "The cause for which they fought the cause of slavery WAS WRONG.”

The person who reported the vandalism told police the incident happened between late Monday night and early Tuesday morning. The report states the damage is worth $300.

Someone previously smeared wet concrete onto the monument.
