Deadly ending in Chesterfield County domestic dispute

A man is dead following a domestic dispute Friday in Chesterfield County, according to authorities.

James Myers Jr., 48, was shot and killed. It is unclear at this time who shot him or what led to the shooting.

Chesterfield County Sheriff James Dixon said officials responded to calls about a domestic dispute at 26292 Highway 9 in the Pageland area around 5 p.m. As officers were arriving on the scene and during the course of a 9-1-1 call, Myers was fatally shot.
