Police are looking for a suspect they say crashed a stolen car into several vehicles in southwest Charlotte Thursday morning.

The incident happened about 7:30 a.m. on Baltimore Avenue at the intersection with Griffith Street. According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, the driver of a Scion was traveling on Griffith Street and made a left turn on Baltimore Avenue, striking an unoccupied parked vehicle. The Scion then veered left into a parking lot and struck an unoccupied parked pickup truck that was pushed into a building.

The driver of the Scion then took off on foot. Officers later determined that the Scion had been stolen from a residence on Elmhurst Road.
