SALISBURY, NC (FOX 46) - Emotions are still raw as loved ones remember 22-year-old Sharod Mathis.
"I can't work. I'm crying all the time. My family is crying. I just know my heart and chest is heavy. I've lost my grandson, I'll never see him again," said Mathis' grandfather, Barry Cassell.
"He was the one that got along with everyone," said Mathis.
Salisbury police have not yet said if the two shootings on Sunday morning are connected, but they tell FOX 46 Charlotte investigators are making progress in the case.
