Farm animals 'massacred' under cover of darkness

Fenced animals including goats, an alpaca, and a calf were slain in what authorities in Arkansas are describing as a massacre.

The killings happened between 7 p.m. December 28 and 8 a.m. December 29, according to the Woodruff County Sheriff's Office.

William Wiggins and his daughter told KARK that they opened the pen to greet the animals, but instead found many of them dead.

A $500 cash reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to an arrest and conviction of those responsible.
