CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Eight-year-old Ava Stack, a young girl from south Charlotte, went missing Monday afternoon.
"She's my world, she's everything to me, she's all I have, she's missing,” said Ava’s father.
He’s begging for help to find his little girl. The child's mother, Megan Stack, picked her up from Bain Elementary School at 4:30 on Monday afternoon. It was a regular day until they never came home.
“She’s driving. They don't know where, she's in the car they think driving, so please keep your eyes on the road.”
Police say this case is particularly serious because of Megan’s emotional state and recent behavior.
“There are some behavioral issues that are concerning to us. It ramps up the importance up more with her being with an eight-year-old child."
No one has been able to reach them, and police have no way to track the car because it has a paper tag. Police say the car is a bright silver 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe with a 30-day tag.
Ava’s father says he still remembers what his little girl was wearing when he last saw her.
“A white t-shirt and purple jeans with gray Jordan sneakers," he told us. All he wants is to get her back, as soon as possible.
“Please if anyone has seen her, please, call the authorities, call the police, thank you."
