Fire damages Concord apartment building

An apartment fire in Concord on Saturday afternoon displaced some tenants, according to the Concord Fire Department.

Fire personnel responded to 1102 Norman Point N.E. shortly after 1 pm Saturday to find an apartment building on fire. Twenty-four firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in 11 minutes. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Some of the displaced tenants are being assisted by the American Red Cross, according to firefighters.
