It took Charlotte firefighters 40 minutes to put out a duplex fire on 3800 Rosehaven Drive. Now fire investigators are trying to figure out what caused the home to catch fire. Chief Neal Smith says no one was injured.

Crews began a primary search to make sure everyone is okay, but a secondary, more thorough, search had to be delayed because of a roof collapse.

The building was boarded up, and utilities off when the fire began. The building also had a demolition notice on it. Chief Neal isn't yet calling this an intentional fire, but crews are investigating.
