CHARLOTTE, NC (WJZY) - Districts all around the greater Charlotte area are heading back to school Monday.
Chuck Roads is out in the field monitoring traffic and Robin Kanady will have updates on CMS Superintendent Ann Clarks school visits.
CMS Superintendent Clark will visit Torrence Creek Elementary in Huntersville, Statesville Road Elementary and Quail Hollow Middle School. She will wrap up her day at CMS Headquarters.
Huntersville Police will be conducting a high visibility traffic enforcement operations in school zones and school bus stops during the first two weeks of school. A citation for speeding in a school zone carries a $250 fine plus court costs and a citation for passing a stopped school bus is a mandatory court appearance.
