Gastonia police search for suspects in pawn shop burglary

The Gastonia Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying three people who broke into a local pawn shop. 

The incident happened at Joe's Gun & Pawn on Ozark Avenue on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 24. 

According to officers, nothing was stolen but the suspects caused property damage to the business.

The three suspects left the scene in a dark-colored, four-door Honda Accord. Images from a surveillance system show two men, with one having dark hair and the other wearing a hat and jacket. A third appears to have his/her hair pulled back and is wearing a Crest High School hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone who can identify the suspects is asked to call Detective Watts at (704) 866-6885 or Crime Stoppers of Gaston County at (704) 861-8000. Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
