Gastonia's Santa Claus

It's a few weeks before Christmas, when all through this house

It's anything but quiet as a mouse.

Hundreds of good little girls and good little boys

Come to visit this Gastonia Santa and ask him to bring them their favorite toys.

In return, each child gives Santa a stocking to hang by the chimney with care.

No need to hope - for Saint Nicholas is already here.

With the help of some kind little elves,

He's able to light his whole year and put toys on his shelves.

It's true what they say - he has a broad face and a round, little belly.

That shakes when he laughs like a bowl full of jelly.

505 Fleetwood Circle is where's Santa's chuckle can be heard.

So come by between six and nine any night before December 23rd.

Come every kid, no matter how rich or poor, big or small

This visit with Santa is free and no need to wait in long lines at the mall…

Parents, don't forget your camera - you might want to snap a pic

When your son or daughter sits on the lap of Saint Nick.

Each tiny tot leaves with some early gifts from the jolly old elf:

A candycane and certificate of their visit, for mom and dad to put on the shelf.

As for jolly Kris Kringle,

It's the kid's bright smiles he loves the most when they stop by to mingle.

The little ones leave Santa from their site

But they know it won't be long til he's back with a sack full of toys, wishing a merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
