IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - An Iredell County mother is asking for clothing donations for her children after her home went up in flames while she was at work on Tuesday.
The blaze broke out in the 400 block of Trumpet Branch Road, and fully engulfed the house. Several crews responded to the scene where they were met with heavy flames.
The homeowner's sister, Karen Dalton, tells FOX 46 that her neices and nephews were at the beach with her while her sister, Christy, was working. Everyone is ok, but the family has lost everything.
Dalton says her sister is asking for large and medium women's shirts, size 12 and size six pants and large children's pants and shirts for her and her children.
Donations can be dropped off at Union Grove United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 1331 Sloan's Mill Road in Union Grove anytime.
