Kaepernick in Carolina? Lawyer says Panthers would be a "natural" fit for QB

Controversial quarterback Colin Kaepernick could be putting on a Carolina Panthers uniform, according to his lawyer.

His attorney, Mark Geragos, says the Panthers would be a "natural" fit if Cam Newton is out this season, and he would be playing with Eric Reid.

Reid kneeled with Kaepernick when the two were teammates in San Francisco. Reid signed a three year contract extension with the Panthers.

Kaepernick has not played in the NFL since 2016. He and Reid reached a settlement with the NFL ending their collusion case.
