Large drug stash found after warrant served near Charlotte Airport

Three men were charged after CMPD officers attempted to serve a search warrant and found a large amount of drugs inside the apartment, authorities say.

Carlous Armstrong, Christina Broome and Tykari Brown were arrested Thursday at an apartment complex on Nobles Avenue near Charlotte Douglas Airport.

Among the narcotics that were discovered were heroin, Oxycodone, and marijuana. In addition three firearms and a little over $2,000 in cash was confiscated.

The apartment was occupied by six adults and four juveniles and it is unclear at this time if the others are being charged.

Among the charges the three are facing are intent to sell drugs and possession of a controlled substance. Broome faces additional child abuse charges.
