Lincoln County father accused of punching driver's ed teacher in the head

A Lincoln County father is facing multiple charges after he reportedly punched a driver's ed teacher in the head several times, knocking off his glasses, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. 

Deputies said the driver's ed teacher had reportedly told the father, identified as Justin Kyle Ray, 36, that he could not allow his child inside the class at West Lincoln High School because he 'was not allowed to let anyone enter the class after 8 a.m. according to school policy.' 

Ray reportedly became irate and punched the teacher several times in the head. The driver's ed teacher sustained facial injuries and his glasses were broken. The teacher was treated at the scene, deputies said.

Following the assaault, Ray left in his pickup truck. The sheriff's office was able to locate him and charge him with on misdemanor count each of assault on a school employee, communicaitng threats, injury to personal property, and disorderly condict at school.
