Man accused of killing 2-year-old turns self in to police

A man wanted for the murder of a 2-year-old has turned himself in to authorities, according to the Gaston County Police Department. 

Marquis Julius Graham, 25, was being sought by the Gaston County Police in connection to the death of 2-year-old Kye Abdul Rashid. The child was pronounced dead Sunday, according to police.

Police say Graham was in a relationship with the child's mother and they were living together with her one young child.

Graham turned himself in to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police today and is currently being interviewed by detectives. He will transported to the Gaston County Jail later this evening.
