SULLIVAN'S ISLAND, S.C. (AP) — Police at Sullivan's Island have arrested a man and accused him of interrupting a church service.
Multiple media outlets reported that 45-year-old James L. Goulah was arrested Sunday and charged with disorderly conduct and disrupting religious worship.
Town officials said Goulah was escorted outside the building after the incident and remained there until police arrived.
Details on what happened in the church were not immediately available. Town officials said no guns were involved.
Goulah is being held in the Charleston County jail. It was not clear if he has a lawyer.
