A man was caught on camera breaking into a produce market in Waxhaw, and now, Union County deputies need your help identifying him.

"We are sent a lot of security footage and these are some of the best pictures I have ever seen and the owner tells me it's because the suspect was trying to cut the cords on the security cameras."

The suspect cut the wires on each and every security camera in the market, but luckily, they were on long enough to capture a clear image of the man’s face, staring straight up.

This happened between 3:30 and 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Providence Produce Market on Providence Rd. in Waxhaw.

The suspect broke out a back window, stole every cash register, computer and training information. The damage and stolen electronics total more than $5,000.

"It is alarming. Obviously we are a tight nit group. We have a great staff. We have a community that supports us. When something like this happens it is discouraging."

Although the cords were cut, the cameras still caught the suspect because the images are stored on a cloud system.

It's the second time in about two years this produce stand has been targeted. The security cameras helped capture the suspects in the last incident, and the owner is confident, these images will bring justice once again.

"And things get worse for this suspect. When he was cutting the cords on those cameras he stood on top of a box of food that was supposed to be donated to a local food bank.

If you recognize the man you’re asked to call the Union County Sheriff's Office.
