Man charged for killing 3 and injuring 1 in Wadesboro bar shooting

An Anson County man has been charged with 3 counts of murder after shooting and killing 3 and injuring another person in a bar shooting in Wadesboro Friday evening. 

According to Wadesboro Police, officers were dispatched at 11:25 pm after receiving calls about shots fired at Mr. D's Bar and Grill on E. Caswell St. Officers arrived on scene at 11:28 pm and found two men lying on the floor suffering from gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead by Anson County EMS.

Officers then discovered two other people who had been shot. One person was taken to the local hospital where they were later pronounced dead. A female victim was treated and released from CMC in Charlotte. 

After investigating, officers arrested Robbie Harris, 30, of Anson County, and charged him with 3 counts of first degree murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.  

The North Carolina SBI is assisting Wadesboro Police in the investigation.  Authorities are asking for anyone who was present at Mr D.'s  during the time of the shooting to call Wadesboro Police at 704-694-2167.
