CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - A 15-year-old is one of two people charged in connection to two armed robberies that happened on April 1, police said.
Officers said about 10:30 p.m. the pair approached a victim near the 100 block of East 3rd Street, pointed a gun, and got aaway with property belonging to the victim.
Less than an hour later, police said the pair appraoched another victim in the same manner near the 300 block of South Tryon Street.
Sutton Williams, 20, was charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, and possession of stolen property. He was taken into the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.
