Man wanted for double-murder in Alexander County taken into custody

ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) -- Authorities in Alexander County have found a man who was wanted in connection to the deaths of two people.

Adam Thomas Morgan was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff's Office and charged with two counts of first degree murder. He was considered "armed and dangerous."

Morgan, 20, had last been seen Friday afternoon driving on the Old Mountain Road in Stony Point headed toward Alexander County near the Iredell-Alexander County line. The vehicle was driven by a white female and Morgan was the passenger, deputies said. The vehicle had a NC temporary tag.
