Officers were able to locate Gantt at the same residence the shooting occurred at and arrest him. He was charged with 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

He is booked at the Mecklenburg County Jail with a $225,000 bond.
