MATTHEWS, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - UPDATE 3/29/19 - The Matthews Police Department said they're happy to announce Lawrence Worley, 90, was safely located in the 4000 block of Sandy Avenue in Charlotte.
Police said he will be reunited with his family soon.
The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man.
Lawrence Edwin Worley, 90, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, police said.
He is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 170 pounds with short white hair and blue eyes.
Worley was last seen at 1527 Moonstone Drive in Matthews wearing a gray shirt with a Panthers logo, gray sweatpatns, and black tennis shoes, police said.
He could possibly be headed to Stacks, Pappy's Cuts, Starbucks, Walmart, or the Jiffylube, police said. Woirley was last seen driving in a Metallic gray 2009 Toyota Camry with IN tag 618-LYG.
