Missing Mooresville teen Found Safe

A missing 16-year-old from Mooresville was found safe Sunday, according to the FBI.

She was found in Franklin County, Georgia, according to Mooresville Police. 

The Mooresville Police Department along with the FBI have been looking for Elisabeth Mayo since Wednesday morning, December 9. 

She may go by the nickname "Lissie" and may be in need of medical attention.

She is 5'4," 234 pounds, with red hair and hazel eyes. Mayo has a pierced nose, but is said not to be wearing any jewelry in it. She has freckles and a scar above her right eyebrow.

When she was last seen her hair was shaved on the right side and worn long on the left side. She was wearing black stretch pants with white print, a gray or pink zip-up hooded sweater shirt and black "beanie" style hat.
