The incident happened at 9:16 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19 at a residence located on Picwyck Drive.

Deputies were called to the home in reference to loud arguing going on at the residence. Upon arrival, deputies could hear loud voices and cursing from inside.

While approaching the home, the garage door opened and several people came out. The suspect, identified as Karma Margarita Ramerez, starting yelling and cursing at the deputies. They attempted to get Ramerez to calm down, but she would not.

Ramerez told them to "get off her property because she did not call them." She then threatened to kill them. The sheriff's office said Ramerez was then taken into custody.

While being transported to the sheriff's office Ramerez reportedly kicked the back of the patrol car and broke one of the in-car cameras. At the Magistrates Office she again became aggresstive kicking one of the deputies in his leg and biting another.

Ramerez has been charged with two counts of assault on a public officer, resist, obstruct and delay of a public officer, communicating threats, and damage to property. She is being held on a $15,500 secured bond, police said.
