CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - Two people are dead following an overnight shooting that took place inside a residence nearby Providence Crossing, authorities said.
CMPD says a third person is in the hospital being treated for gunshot wounds.
51-year-old Matthew Chaplin and a 15-year-old juvenile are the deceased.
Around 4 a.m. on Sunday officers responded to a call about an assault with a deadly weapon nearby 11400 Glenn Abbey Way. A man and a woman were both found shot and were pronounced dead on the scene.
The police say they are not looking for any suspects at the moment but were also unclear whether or not this was a domestic dispute.
