Neighbors in Hickory look forward to snow

Snow has arrived in the Carolinas, and neighbors in Hickory say they’re happy about it.

"I’m hoping to be stuck at home, inside."

They’ll likely see the most action on Sunday. That's when the area is projected to get up to 12 inches of snow-- and you know what that usually means.

"All the schools shut down. All the shops are closed."

Rightfully so. The city of Hickory tells FOX 46 it's treated primary roads with brine, but not secondary roads.

"Kind of crazy, like, as always."

The city is asking people to get ready, and stay home. 

"There's already no milk and bread left so that pretty much answers your question.
