Officers looking for suspect in Cleveland County homicide

The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office is offering a reward for the suspect involved in a murder that happened Tuesday night.

Officers responded to Friendship Road to investigate a shooting around 4:45 p.m.

When officers arrived they found Shawn Lamont Border deceased.

A witness on scene told the officers the suspect, who left after the shooting was Quavis Clyde and the shooting happened after an argument between the two.

Officers say warrants have been issued on Clyde for first degree murder. The investigation is ongoing.

The sheriff's office is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of Clyde.
