Pedestrian hit near same southeast Charlotte intersection where man was killed

A pedestrian has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in the same area of southeast Charlotte where a man was killed just days before. 

The person was struck near the intersection of Sardis Rd. North and Crown Center Dr. They were taken to Novant Presbyterian to be treated for serious injuries. 

On Tuesday, Dec. 5, 50-year-old Dewayne Clifford Selman was hit on Sardis Rd. North near Krefeld Dr. while trying to cross the road. Selman later died in the hospital.
