There is a curfew in effect in the Columbia area that goes until 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Officials have been evacuating dozens of people from their homes after more concerns over flooding and after a number of dams have been breached.

A dam collapsed near Forest Acres Monday afternoon. Nearby roads collapsed and many roads are still blocked off.

Officials say the evacuations are precautionary at this time and there's no telling when people will be allowed back inside.

Free water was given out to those in need all around the region. Officials say they have no timetable on how long they'll have to be providing back up water, it could be throughout the week.
