CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - The Carolina Panthers played the Miami Dolphins at Bank of America Stadium in a heated Monday night game.
The Panthers took the lead at the start of the game with a 40-yard field goal. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 3-0.
Carolina pulled ahead even further in the second quarter, scoring the first touchdown of the game and bringing them up to 10-0.
The Dolphins retaliated, scoring a touchdown, but the Panthers didn't let them get much further. They came back for another seven points just before halftime, leaving the Dolphins trailing by 10.
In the third quarter, the Panthers really picked up, scoring three more touchdowns. Although the Dolphins did return with one touchdown, Carolina still led by 24 points just before the fourth at 38-14.
In the fourth quarter, both teams picked up seven, but the Dolphins just couldn't get past the Panthers defense. Carolina won the game 45-21. #KEEPPOUNDING!
