Police: 22-year-old man arrested in fatal Dallas wreck

A 22-year-old man has been arrested following a two-vehicle wreck that killed a 50-year-old man last Friday in Dallas, police said. 

The deadly crash happened at 6:56 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15 on Redbud Drive and East Hudson Boulevard. 

Eddie Shook, 50, of Dallas, was operating a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu making a left turn onto Redbud Drive when he was struck by a 1006 Ford F350 heading south on Redbud Drive. The Ford was operated by Jadiel Gonzalez, 22, of Charlotte. 

Shook was transported to CaroMont Regional Center where he died from his injuries. A rear seat passenger was injured and transported to CRMC with minor injuries.
