Police: Arrest made in deadly north Charlotte shooting

An arrest has been made in a deadly shooting that happened at a north Charlotte motel early Sunday morning, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. 

Demarco Crawford, 35, has been charged with the murder of 25-year-old Justin Fuller.

Police said Fuller was found with a gunshot wound just after 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25 at the Holiday Motel located in the 6000 block of N. Tryon St. He was pronounced dead on scene by Medic. 

Police said the suspect, identified as Crawford, and several other people had been visiting the motel room when an argument broke out. The suspect fled after the argument.  

Crawford then reportedly came back, knocked on the door, and shot Fuller when he opened it.
