CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - A large police presence responded to Vance High School Monday afternoon.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, officers were called to Vance High after a large fight broke out on campus Monday.
The school was placed on lockdown as a result of the fight, according to a letter from Principal Carroll to parents.
The cause of the fight is under investigation.
