Police: House fire shuts down area roads in Rock Hill

Rock Hill Fire Department 

A house fire has shut down a number of area roads Wednesday morning in Rock Hill, police said. 

The fire started Wednesday, Jan. 16 at a house located in the 700 block of Crawford Road. 

Rock Hill officials said the fire caused a lot of smoke in surround areas, including downtown. Crawford Road is shut down between Tim Street and Rock Street. 

Police are asking drivers to use alternate routes around the area. 

No injuries have been reported.
