Police identify pedestrian struck, killed by two vehicles on Billy Graham Parkway

A pedestrian that was struck and killed by two vehicles on the Billy graham Parkway over the weekend has been identified, police said. 

Milton Reid Moore, 57, was struck and killed when he reportedly ran out into the path of a Doge Charger from Morris Field Drive at 3:36 a.m Saturday, Oct. 28. 

The incident happened in the 3800 block of Billy Graham Parkway at the intersection of Morris Field Drive, police said. Upon arrival, officers located a 2010 Dodge Charger that had struck a pedestrian, later identified as Moore, in the roadway. Moore was pronounced dead on scene. 

The preliminary investigation determined the Dodge Charger, driven by Deon Isaic Inman, was traveling south on Billy Graham Parkway at the intersection Morris Field Drive when Moore ran out into path of the Dodge Charger from Morris Field Drive.  After impact, the Dodge Charger immediately stopped and called 911, Moore came to rest in the middle lane of Billy Graham Parkway. 

CMPD said Keith Hall was operating his Ford Fusion south on Billy Graham Parkway towards the crash in the right lane and an unknown Cadillac was traveling in the middle lane. The Cadillac ran over the pedestrian and swerved into the path of the Ford Fusion. The Ford Fusion rear ended the Cadillac and immediately stopped. The Cadillac continued on Billy Graham Parkway, police said. 

Detectives are investigating to determine if alcohol or speed contributed to the crash. They said Moore was not in a crosswalk and this intersection has no pedestrian signals. 

Detectives with the CMPD’s Major Crash Investigations Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the light colored Cadillac that fled the scene.
