Police: Man stabbed in the neck outside of Lancaster Applebee's

A man was taken to the hospital overnight after he was stabbed in the neck outside of an Applebee's in Lancaster, according to the Lancaster Police Department. 

The stabbing occurred at 12:16 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 at the Applebee's located on Highway 9 Bypass.

Police said the victim was flown to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. They expect the person will be OK. 

A man has been detained, however police said the suspect was too intoxicated to explain what happened. 

Lancaster police said the suspect will be questioned Friday and appropriate charges will be filed.
