Police: NC man uses stolen credit card at Publix, Ingles

Boone Police and High Country Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who was caught on surveillance using a stolen credit card at multiple stores including Publix and Ingles. 

Officers said the man entered a Publix on Friday, March 8 and made a purchase in the amount of $216.17 using a stolen credit card. Later in the day, he made another purchase of $214.33 at Ingles. 

The suspect was seen wearing jeans, a black jacket, a white hoodie, and a blue and white baseball cap. 

Officers said the man also made fraudulent purchases with the credit card at Dollar General in Foscoe and at Rite Aid in Seven Devils before coming to Boone.
