Police: Rock Hill couple fights over last hit of crack cocaine

Rock Hill Police responded to a domestic assault call where a husband and wife were fighting over the last hit of crack cocaine, according to Rock Hill Police.

When officers arrived Amy Martin told them she was assaulted by her husband Bobby Martin III while smoking crack cocaine in their home together.

Amy said she took a hit of the crack, passed it to Bobby, and left the room. When she came back to the room Bobby hadn't taken his hit, so she tried to take the crack from him, according to reports.

Amy told officers when she did that Bobby threw her to the ground and hit her in the face. Amy said she ran to Celanese Road after the assault and called police. She told officers she smoked the rest of the crack before leaving the home.

Officers went to the home to speak with Bobby who said he and Amy were sharing the crack. He told officers it was his turn to hit the crack and that it was going to be the last hit of crack. Bobby said Amy wanted the last hit so she jumped on him, pushed him to the floor, and took the last of the crack.

Bobby told officers he fell to the floor easily because he didn't have his prosthetic leg on, according to reports. Officers took Amy and Bobby into custody and they were both booked on citations for domestic violence 3rd degree.
