Police search for suspect in McDonald's attempted armed robbery

The Mooresville Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they say attempted to rob a local McDonald's. 

The incident happened at 10:37 p.m. Wednesday, October 26 at the McDonald's located at 107 Gateway Boulevard. 

Upon arrival, officers met with employees and determined the suspect was not successful in obtaining money or food items. No one was hurt. 

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 30s. He was last seen wearing baggy clothing described as a red sweatshirt, blue jeans and a camouflage hat.
