Police seek to identify suspect in Boost Mobile armed robbery

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they say robbed a local Boost Mobile at gunpoint Monday night. 

The armed robbery happened at 7:38 p.m. Monday, April 8 at the Boost Mobile located at 2448 Freedom Drive. 

Officers said the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded property from the business. The suspect was last seen crossing Freedom Drive towards Camp Green Street. 

The suspect is described as a black male, around 40-years-old, with a bald head and goatee. The suspect is about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, police said. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a green hood and dark colored pants.
