Police: Woman carjacked, robbed at gunpoint in northwest Charlotte

Authorities are searching for two suspects in a stolen vehicle after a woman was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning on UNC Charlotte's campus. 

The robbery occurred at 12:08 a.m. Monday, April 1 at the Millennium Place Apartments. 

According to UNCC Police, two black men wearing ski makes took a student's vehicle by force and were armed with a handgun. The student was not injured during this incident, they said. 

The stolen vehicle is described as a 2012 dark gray Honda Civic. It was last seen heading in an unknown direction of travel. The vehicle has been reported to the CMPD Real Time Crime Unit, which monitors multiple tag readers throughout the city.
