Report: Coldplay to headline Super Bowl 50 halftime show

The sky will apparently be full of stars at Levi's Stadium on Feb. 7.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday that British band Coldplay will headline the Super Bowl 50 halftime show. The appearance will come on the heels of the release of the group's seventh album "A Head Full of Dreams," on Dec. 4.

Bruno Mars -- who was the featured act of Super Bowl 48 -- is also scheduled to make appear along with Coldplay, as will Beyonce. The latter is one of the guest artists on the band's new album.
