HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - A one-bredroom apartment in Huntersville costs about $1,050 to rent, the largest year-over-year rent increase in the greater Charlotte metro area, according to a report released by Zumper.
Last year's rent in Huntersville for the month of January was more than 14 percent less.
Charlotte ranked the highest at $1,160 rent for a one-bedroom.
Gastonia is considered the most affordable area with rent under $700 on average, according to the report.
Zumper bases its data off active listings that went on the market last month.
