Right Moves Youth receives $350K thanks to NBA All-Star game

It was a high flying night for Lebron James and for the kids from the Right Moves Youth program sitting courtside, thanks to Lebron.

“It is something else and they’re still talking about it they keep contacting me on my cell phone to talk about it” says Ryan Grammatico, Right Moves For Youth Program Manager.  He says it was one of the most special nights ever for these kids.

“Honestly these kids getting to look at their faces screaming and chanting.. and cheering knowing that these are the people they’ve always looked up to.. but the energy of the place is crazy.. its so good.”

Lebron picked the local youth program dedicated to mentoring kids to be his charity for the All-Star game, meaning if Team Lebron wins, Right Moves For Youth wins.

Since Team Lebron won, Right Moves For Youth gets $350,000 from the NBA, while Second Harvest Foodbank of Metrolina (Team Giannis) gets $150,000.

Grammatico says the money will go a long way,  “it’s a complete game changer, it will benefit our services to the city and deepen the roots inside of the schools that we’re already serving.”
